Build quality could be better for such price. Sound and microphone are good as its really hard to mess with digital sound.

Bought pair of theese to use with Yamaha S-R700. Perfect sound for such as price range. No subwoofer needed! Rich, colourfull and powefull sound. Btw, youngster brother NS-555 also is not bad choice in small apartments. (Owned previuosly).

Pretty good maybe at office. At home is useless without subwoofer. With subwoofer at home sounds good. So if you are looking for quite ok sound at office maybe worth of considering T40 or Yamaha NX-50 (no bass and treblle asjustment). But at home sub is needed for rich sound. At my desktop pc T40 works perfectly clear and loudly with reduced bass and added sub.

Good NC, good comfort to wear for longer periods. BUT: sound quality (both nc and non nc mode) could be better. Lows are quite muddy. Too much mids. Lack of trebble. Must use equalizer to make them sound good. E.g B&O H2 sounds the way much better. So result is good if you are using them just for travels with NC. NC function is really good here.
